Tero by Nishane is a woody oriental perfume that opens on sweet aromatic notes, with an earthy heart and an enveloping amber base.

Created in collaboration with Carlos Benaim, TERO means Earth in Esperanto. Even though there are billions of planets out there, finding a copy of the Earth seems unlikely since it would have to have undergone the same stages of its evolution to be at a similar stage to the current one. We can therefore say that we all live in the same "place", that is, our planet and that we are made up of it in a complex and yet simple way. As humans, we go through cycles just like the Earth, just on different planes. The Earth grows and dies, changes and moves, heats and cools, produces life and feeds on what it creates. The Earth asks us to take care of it and in doing so also of ourselves and our future generations, plants, animals, air and water. It asks us to be aware that we are as much a part of it as anything else, and that the Earth and its nature are a part of the whole. The Earth asks us to be content with how it is, to be content with ourselves, and to know that everything will change and grow at the pace and in the ways needed. So as not to push it beyond its limits, so as not to transform nature into something that we can no longer even call natural. The Earth asks us as humans to keep it clean and healthy, and to keep ourselves clean and healthy. This perfume and the earthy notes that pervade it are dedicated to all of this: to the world in which we all live.

Base Notes: Haitian Vetiver Oil, Amber, Oak Wood
