Dark and mysterious, shimmering with gold, dramatic and decadent: Byzantine Amber is my interpretation of the amber accord. An opening with cinnamon and the fruitiness of geranium develops into an amber base with a dark, animalic and mineral facet. Geranium - fruity, rosé, spicy, slightly green - contrasts with the dry minerality of ambergris and styrax. The backbone of this work is a familiar structure, an amber accord enriched by the spice that makes it sensual: cinnamon. This warm and shiny accord is traced by leathery, smoky and animalistic aspects that give intensity and characterize the composition.
